The final round of the Thailand Championship, 3-person basketball 3×3 UTCC Championship 2025, was held at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok. 48 out of 439 teams from all over the country were selected to compete
for the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in 3 categories: 18-year-old Male: Champion, Thakham Pittayakhom School team; 18-year-old Female: Champion, Sirindhorn Rajavidyalaya School team; and 16-year-old Male: Champion, START UP team, receiving the Royal Trophy, prize money, and certificates. This tournament has its scores recorded in the FIBA Ranking, which helps the Thai youth national team to earn a right to compete in the Youth Olympics.
The event was presided over by Sarawut Yoovidhya, Vice Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Advisor to the Council of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Chief Executive Officer of TCP Group, along with Mr. Nipon Chavalitmontien, President of the Basketball Association of Thailand, Dr. Kritsana Wachikrailat, Vice Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Distinguished University Council Member of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanawat Polvichai, President of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, along with competition sponsors and executives of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
The Thailand Championship round was the 1st and 2nd place teams from the regional qualifying round, totaling 731 teams from all over the country, divided into 3 categories: under 18 years old male/female, under 16 years old male. The Thailand Championship round will be held on July 19, 2025 at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce Auditorium, Bangkok. (onelove168)
