The Football Association of Thailand, together with the International Football Federation or FIFA, has continuously organized the “Search for the Chaba Kaew” activity. The second year in 2025 has already begun in the Bangkok and surrounding areas at the Football Potential Development Center inside Bangkokthonburi University between 28-29 June 2025 to find the white elephant to join the Chaba Kaew U17 team to fulfill their dream of playing in the first Women’s World Cup.

This event was led by Anthony Hudson, Technical Director of the Association, along with Nuengruethai Sarathongvian, Head Coach of the Thailand U20 Women’s National Football Team, Thidarat Wiwasukhu, Head Coach of the Thailand U17 Women’s National Football Team, and Rattikarn Thongsombat, Scout for the Bangkok and Metropolitan Region Zone.

In selecting athletes through the T+MASC criteria, each zone is divided into 2 days. There is a selection process. On the first day, the system will be used, dividing athletes into 7 people, divided according to the athlete’s position. Everyone who joins the activity will play a minimum of 2 games each, and the athletes will be selected to a minimum of 33 people.

After that, on the second day, athletes will be selected using the 11 v 11 system and will play a minimum of 60 minutes each to grade all athletes, with video recording to analyze their playing form and record individual statistics via GPS.

After this, the Football Association of Thailand will proceed to Chonburi Provincial Sports School, Chonburi Province (Eastern Zone) during 5-6 July 2025 to continue searching for the Chaba Kaew.( vox888 )
