There will be one warm-up match against the Nepal national team, ranked 99th in the world, after the Nepal Football Association accepted the invitation letter from the Football Association of Thailand.

In addition, the International Football Federation (FIFA) has sent a letter confirming that the competition is a FIFA International ‘A’ Match and will count FIFA ranking points at Tier 1 level.

For FIFA International ‘A’ Match comes from the idea that FIFA wants to organize and standardize the calculation of world ranking points or FIFA Ranking to be more reliable and accurate. The games that are considered to be ‘A’ Match level are of many formats, namely, big official tournament games such as the World Cup, Confederations Cup, Euro Cup and Asian Cup, whether they are qualifying rounds or the final round, are all considered ‘A’ Matches.

Meanwhile, special football tournaments, warm-up games or friendly matches can also be ‘A’ Matches, but the first condition is that it must be a meeting between the senior national team and the senior national team only.

In addition to the players who must be from the senior national team, the referee of the ‘A’ Match must be a FIFA referee, including the assistant referee (linesman) who must also be FIFA. In addition, each ‘A’ Match must have a gap of not less than 48 hours, and the match report, including the list of players, must be sent to the FIFA and AFC Secretariats.

The friendly football match according to the FIFA Day calendar between the Thai women’s national football team, ranked 47th in the world, and Nepal, ranked 99th in the world, will be held on June 2, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Thammasat University Rangsit Center. The live broadcast channel will be announced later. ( mungmee168 )
