According to a separate report from the Deseret News, Utah paid $400,000 to terminate the contract, which guaranteed a portion of the full $2,349,578 million in salary, leaving Springer free to seek employment elsewhere in the NBA. 

The 6-foot-4 player impressed the Jazz when he signed a 10-day contract, signing a three-year deal when it expired in March, but the two-year commitment was not guaranteed. 

Overall, he started 2 of 17 games in Salt Lake City, averaging 3.8 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 13.2 minutes of play.  Superheng1688
