Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown insists they can’t overlook the Dallas Cowboys after the division rivals traded 24-year-old wide receiver George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers to partner with CeeDee Lamb, NFL Network reports. betflikth99
“I like it, but I’m not going to lie,” Brown said during a conversation with fans on his YouTube channel about the Cowboys trading Pickens from the Steelers this offseason.
Even though the Cowboys will finish the 2024 season with a 7-10 record, the addition of Pickens to the offense is another reminder that they can’t ignore their division rivals either.
“We’re definitely going to be concerned about (Dallas),” Brown added. “We’re going to be concerned about them. I like the trades, I like the competition, I like George Pickens, I like CeeDee Lamb, and they’re coming together. It’s exciting to watch because that’s what we’re going to get the best out of. So if we know what they’re going to be like, we’re going to take it to the next level.”
Brown and Devontae Smith could be the best wide receiver duo in the NFL, but the Washington Commanders traded Deebo Samuel from the San Francisco 49ers to partner Terry McClaurin, while the Cowboys brought in Pickens to partner Lamb and the New York Giants had Malik Neighbors as their sole starter.
The Eagles also trounced the Cowboys, winning both of their games last season, scoring a combined 75-13 against opponents without quarterback Dak Prescott, but Brown insists it was still the toughest game, even with the score being a landslide.
‘No matter what the score is or what the score is, these are some of the toughest games. Every time, the Cowboys and Washington have a tough fight. It looks easy, but it’s not.’ ( betflikth99 )
