The defeat from that fight made Supergirl lose her mind quite a bit. Not only was she disappointed with her boxing form, she also had to face heavy criticism online. So she decided to take a break from the ring for a while. She opened up that “I started boxing since I was 8 years old. I trained all the time and never stopped. In the past, when I lost, I didn’t think much about it because I saw boxing as a sport. Winning or losing was normal. But when social media came into the picture, everything changed. More and more people commented to criticize me until every fight I fought, I had to sit and be stressed. It wasn’t fun like before. I felt that the joy of boxing gradually disappeared. Until one time my mental health was very bad. I almost became depressed.”

“Many people suggested that I take a break, try to find other activities to do for a while. So I went to do photoshoots and set up a boxing camp in Phuket. With my family’s support, I was able to get through all my problems. Recently, I started to feel that my mental state has improved a bit, so I want to come back to boxing again.”

After taking a break, Supergirl began to think about building a stable business for her family, while preserving the legacy of the original boxing gym her father had established. She decided to move her family to Phuket and they joined forces to open a boxing gym called Supergirl Charoonsak Gym.
