The AP reported that the main person who was fired was Gene Traylor, who was hired by the Suns in January 2023 as director of safety, security and risk management.  

Attorney Courtney Walters, representing Traylor, countered on behalf of her client, saying the dismissal was unfair and unrelated to the case. 

Traylor is suing the Suns, alleging negligence and failure to meet multiple safety standards at the arena, despite his proposed improvements being scrapped. 

Phoenix is a dramatic organization, dating back to November 2024 when Andrea Trishan sued the team for racism , violating various laws, leading to her contract being terminated. Thaisiambet
