The Thailand Boxing Association has organized an English language skills training program for national referees (3 stars) to prepare personnel for working in the international arena, including refereeing at the Olympic Games.

By Lieutenant General Uchukon Sakonnawin, Deputy Secretary-General and Vice President of the Association, presiding over the opening of the training on July 26, 2024 at the Sri Muang Piao Room, Muak Lek National Sports Training Center, Saraburi Province, along with Mr. Winai Rodchai, Vice President of the Association, in his capacity as the chairman of the training.

This training program, attended by 24 young referees from across the country, focused on developing comprehensive English language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, for communication in everyday life and real-world situations. It also included technical boxing terminology and English for the TOEIC exam.

Training content includes: Basic English conversation, daily communication and travel, learning through simulations, boxing terminology, and TOEIC test techniques. Training schedule: 26-28 July 2024, 3 days in total.
