The VALORANT esports competition, Masters Toronto, held in Canada on June 17th, was a Lower Bracket Quarterfinals match between G2, the NA champion, and Gen.G from the Pacific zone.
The first map opened with Lotus taking on G2, the runners-up of Masters Bangkok earlier this year in Thailand. They had a great start, winning 13-7, taking a 1-0 lead in the map.
However, in the second map, Haven, it was Gen.G who came back and won a close match, 13-11, making the map 1-1, and having to decide which team advances to the next round on Icebox.
In the deciding map, Gen.G started off strong, taking an 8-4 lead at halftime before extending their lead to 11-4. However, G2 rallied to turn things around and win 13-11, taking the map 2-1 and advancing to the Lower Bracket Semifinals where they will face the winner of Sentinels vs. Fnatic.
