Verse’s first season, which ended with him winning Defensive Rookie of the Year and making the Pro Bowl, showed signs of progress in his first year, but the 24-year-old still has a lot of work to do to reach the level of Rams legend Donald, who has mentored and challenged him in the past. 

“I can tell you he’s a psychopath,” Worse said of Donald. “I had to take another off-season to get over it. It was terrible.” 

“I’ve done a lot of different workouts. I’ve worked with hundreds of people, the best NFL players, the best college players. That was the hardest workout I’ve ever done.” 

‘Not even close. Like, you know those bad times in college? It’s nothing.’ 

Donald is an all-time great, having a 10-year career that included three Defensive Player of the Year awards, eight All-Pro selections, and 10 Pro Bowl appearances. ( kuiper999 )
