ONE has revealed the main event for ONE Fight Night 36: Prajanchai vs. Jonathan II on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Kongthoranee Sor. Sommai, the No. 4 ranked ONE Muay Thai Flyweight (125-135 lbs.) contender, will face Aslamjon Ortikoff, the undefeated 22-year-old rising star from Uzbekistan, who will be making his ONE debut on the big stage. The pair will fight in a Muay Thai Flyweight bout.

After becoming a full-fledged ONE athlete, he clashed with some of the biggest names in the division, such as current ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9, in his first fight at ONE Lumpinee 68 in June 2024. Although he unfortunately lost by unanimous decision, his form earned him consistent opportunities to compete in major events.

In his five fights as a ONE athlete, Kongthoranee has won three times, starting with unanimous decision wins over Tagir Khalilov and Nakrob Fairtex late last year, and his first fight of the year, a narrow split decision win (2 to 1) over Nong-O Hama Muay Thai, the former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion (135-145 lbs.), who was making his first move down to flyweight, at ONE Fight Night 28 in February 2025.

However, he was recently defeated by Nong-O, who unanimously delivered a powerful and accurate strike at ONE Fight Night 31 in May 2015. This defeat dropped him from 3rd to 4th in the rankings. This return is another testament to his desire to secure a victory to retain his ranking and reclaim his place on the global stage.

Aslamjon is a rising star with a 14-fight unbeaten streak before making his debut in ONE Lumpinee Stadium in July 2023. Over the past two years, he has been on a blistering run, captivating fans worldwide with his eight-fight winning streak, four of which came within a full round.

In his first two fights of the year, Aslamjon showcased his sharp skills, starting with a unanimous decision victory over ONE athlete and Road To ONE Thailand Season 1 Champion Detduanglek Wankhongom MBK at ONE Lumpinee 107 in May. He then most recently knocked out Petchsukhumvit Boybangna at ONE Lumpinee 114 in late June. His aforementioned performances have allowed him to achieve his long-awaited dream of securing a contract with ONE.

Immediately after being confirmed as a full-fledged ONE athlete, Aslamjon announced his desire to face the number 4 ranked fighter in the division, hoping to use it as a stepping stone to climb the rankings. Meanwhile, Kongthoranee, looking to retain his title and regain credibility after his last defeat, readily accepted the challenge.
