Superheng1688 Brendon O’Connor, a veteran NBA coach, has left the LA Clippers to join Mike Brown Young’s staff at the New York Knicks.

Serious XM Radio reports that O’Connor left his comfort zone after being with the Clippers since the 2013-14 season. 

He was previously with the Detroit Pistons on Larry Brown’s staff and then with the Nets franchise.  

His role with New York in the 2025-26 season will be focused on defense, and he is being praised for his work efficiency and good nature. 

Guaranteed by the Clippers’ defensive rating last season, ranked 4th in the league.

Brown ‘s staff still has some vacancies after previous attempts to sign his right-hand man, including James Borrego , Jay Triano and Pablo Prigoni, failed. Superheng1688
