Serious XM Radio reports that O’Connor left his comfort zone after being with the Clippers since the 2013-14 season.
He was previously with the Detroit Pistons on Larry Brown’s staff and then with the Nets franchise.
His role with New York in the 2025-26 season will be focused on defense, and he is being praised for his work efficiency and good nature.
