Boonmeelotto San Antonio Spurs guard Julien Champagne has secured a contract through the 2025-26 season at Frost Bank Center.
HoopsHype reports that on August 1st, Champagne will receive a salary of $3 million under the third year of his four-year contract, with a team option for another $3 million for the 2026-27 season.
The four-year small forward has been instrumental to San Antonio’s last two seasons, appearing in 74 games in the 2023-24 season and all 82 last season.
Averaged 9.9 points, 3.9 rebounds in 23.6 minutes per game, shooting 37.1% from long range on 5.9 attempts per game.
The Spurs boosted their squad in the off-season of 2025, adding Dylan Harper, Kelly Olaynik, Luke Cornet and Carter Bryant, which will give Champagne a significant role again, just like in the 2024-25 season.

Boonmeelotto Charlotte Hornets head coach Charles Lee is excited about the team’s squad moves for the 2025 offseason, particularly with veteran guard Collin Sexton bolstering the young squad.
The Hornets made over 10 changes to their squad. In addition to Sexton, who was acquired in the Yusuf Nurkic trade to the Utah Jazz, the team also drafted Kon Knapple, Ryan Kalkbrenner, Zion James and Liam McNeely, the latter of whom was traded from the Phoenix Suns for Mark Williams.
That doesn’t include the veterans Pat Connaughton, Spencer Dinwiddie and Mason Plumlee acquired through trades, the free agent market or extensions, and Tre Mann has been retained.
